The university's internal development department. Two teams, one mission, to make MENDELU a better place to work and study. Runs the My MENDELU app, AI chatbots, smart displays and the staff systems that digitalize university processes.
The mobile app that simplifies university life. Timetable, canteen menu, campus map, SOS, study department reservations, alumni club and an AI assistant. 30,000+ downloads, used daily by thousands of students.
Official university Spin-off making AI applications for institutions. Web chatbots, voicebots and the internal AI agent for municipalities, universities or companies. Founded in Q13, now an independent company with 50+ customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Generation, management and verification of university microcertificates, connected to the national verification system and backed by applied research on blockchain-based verification.

A personal tutor for every student, inside My MENDELU. Answers questions 24/7 from verified course materials using RAG, leads Socratic dialogues instead of dictating answers, and generates quizzes aimed at each student's weak spots.
A proactive guide through university life. Watches deadlines, schedules and sylabi, recommends internships and events, notices when a student goes quiet, and will speak out loud through a natural voice mode.
A digital twin of the university. IoT sensors for occupancy, energy, water and air quality feed a live model of the campus, with AI on top for predictions, savings and safety. Phased rollout planned through 2035.
Live campus data in the app students already use. A new occupancy module will show free seats in study rooms and libraries, plus noise and temperature, straight from campus sensors.
Gamified learning and testing for any course. Knowledge tests after every lecture, points, badges and leaderboards, plus course evaluation and QR-code attendance. Think Kahoot, but built into the university app.
The university's work attendance system in your pocket. The Android version is already in production; the iOS version brings clock-ins, overviews and leave requests to every employee's iPhone.
